Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
  • Perform mise en place duties, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP principles).
  • Monitor food stock and assist in inventory management, reporting shortages or issues to the Head Chef.
  • Support with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning tasks as required.
  • Ensure proper storage of food items, minimizing waste and maintaining freshness.
  • Learn and master new culinary techniques and recipes as guided by senior kitchen staff.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
