Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers and crew members throughout the flight, strictly adhering to all aviation regulations and company procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional in-flight customer service, including warm greetings, assisting passengers with boarding and deplaning, and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Serve meals, beverages, and other amenities according to company standards, ensuring passenger comfort and satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks of emergency equipment and cabin cleanliness, reporting any discrepancies to the Cabin Manager.
  • Provide clear and concise safety briefings and demonstrations to passengers before takeoff.
  • Manage and resolve in-flight situations, including passenger conflicts, medical emergencies, and technical issues, with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold CAA's brand image at all times.
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the flight deck crew and other cabin crew members to ensure a smooth and coordinated flight operation.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent command of English and French (written and spoken); knowledge of Swahili is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Physical fitness to perform duties such as lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Successful completion of initial and recurrent flight attendant training (provided by CAA if selected).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Flight Attendant or in the aviation industry.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Additional language proficiency.
  • A diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
