Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and ingredients.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, process payments, and manage end-of-shift reports.
- Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies, spirits, beers, wines, and mixers, reporting shortages.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bar lounge, ensuring readiness for service.
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the hotel's standards of excellence.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Bar Attendant or in a similar hospitality role.
- Proven knowledge of mixed drinks, cocktails, wines, and standard bar procedures.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong numerical aptitude for cash handling and inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy for POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
