Job Description
Access Bank is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Officer to join our dynamic technology team in Odogunyan, Ikorodu. This is an immediate start position, requiring a proactive individual who can hit the ground running and provide critical technical assistance to our banking operations. As an IT Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues within your assigned branch or operational unit. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, providing timely and effective support to end-users, maintaining hardware and software, and upholding the high standards of our technology services.
In this fast-paced environment, you will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, troubleshooting network and system issues, and ensuring our banking operations run efficiently without technological impediments. You will be instrumental in deploying new hardware, configuring software, managing user accounts, and conducting routine maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
- Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and security checks.
- Assist with network connectivity issues and basic server administration tasks.
- Document IT support procedures, resolutions, and inventory.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or relevant departments when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to users on new software or hardware functionalities.
- Monitor IT systems and infrastructure for potential issues and proactive resolution.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Server 2016/2019).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair (desktops, laptops, printers).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
