Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering meaningful connections.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, always respecting their dignity.
- Help with light household duties, such as meal preparation, tidying, and laundry, to ensure a comfortable living environment.
- Support clients with medication reminders and facilitate attendance at appointments.
- Accompany clients on outings, errands, and social activities, promoting engagement and community involvement.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided, ensuring continuity and quality of service.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, their families, and the wider care team.
- Promote client independence and overall well-being, tailoring support to individual needs and preferences.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care-related role or working with older adults (though not essential, as full training is provided).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia or other complex care needs.
