Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and providing accurate information regarding bank products and services.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Identify customer needs and cross-sell suitable bank products and services, contributing to branch sales targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls, regulatory requirements, and security procedures.
  • Educate customers on the use of digital banking channels and self-service options.
  • Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch objectives and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with banking software and CRM systems.
  • A degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Fluency in additional local languages.
