Job Description

We are seeking a diligent, customer-focused, and reliable Hotel Night Receptionist to join our esteemed front desk team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously during overnight hours.
  • Address all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and financial transactions.
  • Process payments, handle cash, and manage billing discrepancies with precision.
  • Perform night audit procedures, balancing daily accounts and preparing reports for management.
  • Ensure the security of the hotel premises, monitoring CCTV and reporting any suspicious activities.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, taking messages as required.
  • Assist with reservations and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Prepare wake-up calls and assist with early morning guest requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide outstanding guest service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a night auditor or night receptionist in a reputable hotel.
