Job Description

Paradise Dental & Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Dentist (Dental Surgeon) to join our esteemed team in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums and related oral structures.
  • Perform routine dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
  • Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, including X-rays, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide preventative dental care and education on oral hygiene to patients of all ages.
  • Administer local anesthesia to patients during dental procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and dental charts.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other medical professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Adhere strictly to all infection control protocols and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuous professional development.
  • Address patient concerns and provide clear explanations of treatment options in an empathetic manner.

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice Dentistry in Jamaica.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry procedures.
  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using modern dental software and equipment.
