Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, development, and pitching of innovative program ideas and content formats that align with RSTV's strategic objectives and target audience demographics.
  • Oversee the entire production lifecycle of assigned television programs, meticulously managing all stages from initial research and script development to filming, editing, and final broadcast.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor production budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within financial parameters.
  • Scout, audition, and manage on-screen talent, production crew, and external vendors, including negotiating contracts and facilitating seamless collaboration.
  • Direct on-location and studio shoots, providing clear creative and technical guidance to camera operators, lighting technicians, sound engineers, and other crew members.
  • Collaborate closely with scriptwriters to refine narratives, ensuring compelling storytelling, factual accuracy, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
  • Supervise all post-production processes, including video editing, sound mixing, graphic design, and visual effects, to achieve polished, broadcast-ready content.
  • Implement rigorous quality control checks to ensure all content meets RSTV's stringent editorial standards, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and professional growth within the team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, evolving technologies, and best practices in television production, broadcasting, and digital media.
  • Liaise effectively with marketing, promotions, and public relations teams to ensure optimal communication and publicity strategies for upcoming programs.
  • Proactively identify and address unforeseen challenges or production obstacles, developing effective contingency plans to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Media Producer or similar role in a TV broadcasting or production house environment.
  • Strong understanding of the entire TV production workflow, from pre-production to post-production and broadcast.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and related production tools.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Creative vision and storytelling aptitude with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and narrative impact.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively, adhering to financial and timeline constraints.
