Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and trustworthy Personal Driver to provide dedicated transportation services for a private employer in Shomolu, Lagos. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who values discretion, punctuality, and impeccable service. As the Personal Driver, you will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth daily operations and personal logistics of our client. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport the employer to various destinations, including business meetings, personal appointments, social engagements, and errands, ensuring adherence to scheduled timings and routes. This role demands exceptional driving skills, an in-depth knowledge of Lagos road networks, including alternative routes to bypass traffic congestion, and a strong commitment to privacy and confidentiality regarding the employer’s activities and whereabouts. Beyond driving, you will be expected to maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, performing routine checks, managing its servicing schedule, and ensuring all necessary documentation (e.g., vehicle registration, insurance) is up-to-date. The ideal candidate will possess a calm demeanor, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate needs, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the employer to various locations as required by their schedule.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic patterns and road conditions in Lagos.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent working condition, performing daily checks and coordinating regular servicing and repairs.
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean, fueled, and ready for use.
- Manage vehicle documentation, including registration, insurance, and licensing, ensuring all are current.
- Assist with errands, package delivery, and other personal tasks as requested by the employer.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols and maintain discretion regarding the employer's personal and professional life.
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to accommodate changes in schedules.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Prioritize the safety and comfort of the employer during all journeys.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably for a private employer or executive.
