Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated School Administrator to join our dedicated team at Covenant Child Academy. This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in education management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating an optimal learning and working environment. The School Administrator will be instrumental in overseeing the daily operational functions of the academy, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and supporting the strategic goals of the institution. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the school, including student admissions, record keeping, attendance, and general office management.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Manage school facilities, including maintenance, security, and resource allocation to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Oversee the school budget in collaboration with the finance department, monitoring expenditures and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Coordinate communication between the school, parents, students, and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and resolving administrative issues promptly.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and management of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with local educational authorities' regulations and health and safety standards.
- Support the planning and execution of school events, activities, and special projects.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other administrative documents as required by the Principal or Board of Directors.
- Implement and maintain robust digital record-keeping systems and administrative software.
- Act as a liaison between the school management, staff, and parent-teacher associations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in school administration or a similar leadership role within an educational setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in administrative software, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and student information systems (SIS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
