Vodacom Congo is seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join our vibrant team in Gbadolite, Nord-Ubangi Province. In this crucial on-site role, you will be the face of Vodacom, directly engaging with potential and existing customers in various settings – from bustling markets and local businesses to community events and residential areas. Your primary mission will be to actively promote Vodacom’s diverse range of cutting-edge products and services, including SIM cards, airtime, data bundles, the revolutionary M-Pesa mobile money services, and other innovative digital solutions designed to empower our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site sales and promotional activities in designated areas within Gbadolite and surrounding localities.
- Actively engage with potential customers to introduce Vodacom products and services (SIM cards, airtime, data, M-Pesa, etc.).
- Perform product demonstrations and clearly explain features, benefits, and pricing to diverse audiences.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable Vodacom solutions to meet those needs.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for product activations and revenue generation.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and customer preferences, providing feedback to management.
- Participate in community outreach programs and promotional events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in field sales, direct sales, or customer service roles.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in French and Lingala (or other relevant local languages).
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Basic understanding of mobile telecommunications products and services.
- Resilience and adaptability to varied working conditions, including outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Fluency in Swahili or other local languages prevalent in Nord-Ubangi Province.
- Knowledge of Gbadolite and its surrounding areas.
- Experience with mobile money services (e.g., M-Pesa).
- Valid motorcycle driving license (if applicable for wider territory coverage).
