Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
  • Manage the end-to-end tender process, including drafting RFQs, evaluating proposals, and conducting robust negotiations.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage a diverse portfolio of local and international suppliers, fostering strong and ethical relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal value, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, and commodity prices to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, finance, and quality assurance teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Implement and enforce procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality or operational efficiency.
  • Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and address any performance issues proactively.
  • Utilize procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for purchase order processing, inventory management, and reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Fluency in Portuguese (verbal and written) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or beverage industry.
