Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and processing large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform descriptive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to facility usage, membership engagement, and program performance.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to present key metrics and findings to stakeholders.
  • Support the senior data analysts in ad-hoc data requests and deeper dive analyses to answer specific business questions and inform strategic planning.
  • Contribute to the improvement of data quality, data collection methods, and reporting processes across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with different departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging tools, and new methodologies in data analysis and business intelligence.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for understanding complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, data manipulation).
  • Basic understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
