FilmHouse Cinemas is seeking a talented and dedicated Video Editor to join our dynamic content creation team in Ilasa, Mushin. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality video content for various platforms (cinema, social media, web).
- Collaborate closely with marketing, production, and creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver on vision.
- Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, sound design, and color correction to enhance video quality and visual appeal.
- Manage and organize media assets, ensuring proper cataloging, backup, and archiving for future use.
- Operate and maintain studio equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear, providing essential studio assistant support.
- Assist with pre-production and post-production tasks, including script review, shot logging, and final delivery.
- Ensure all video content adheres to FilmHouse brand guidelines, technical specifications, and legal requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, editing software, and best practices to continually improve output and workflow efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing software and hardware to maintain seamless operations.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to elevate video projects, contributing to innovative storytelling.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of video production workflows, from pre-production to post-production.
- Expertise in color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
- Ability to tell compelling stories through visual and auditory elements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
