Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient Computer Operator to join our dynamic team in Gwarimpa, Abuja. This pivotal role involves managing and executing daily data processing tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of office systems, and providing essential support for various data-related activities. As a Computer Operator – Office/Data, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, assisting with report generation, and ensuring the efficient flow of information within the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor computer systems, ensuring smooth daily operations, including startups and shutdowns.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry, processing, and verification across various databases and applications.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Generate reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required by management and other departments.
- Troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to IT support.
- Assist in managing office inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and procedures.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and communication management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and streamline data management processes.
- Conduct regular data backups and ensure recovery procedures are in place and tested.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong data entry speed and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Knowledge of basic network configurations and internet protocols
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
