As a Supply Chain Planner at innocent, you’ll be more than just a numbers person; you’ll be a strategic thinker and a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment. You’ll take ownership of critical planning processes, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and production scheduling. You’ll work closely with our commercial, marketing, and operations teams to align forecasts, manage new product introductions, and ensure seamless execution of our supply plans.

You will play a crucial role in balancing customer service levels with efficient inventory holdings, driving down waste, and improving our overall supply chain efficiency. This means actively participating in our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, providing valuable input on capacity planning, material availability, and distribution strategies. Your ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics partners, and internal stakeholders will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a portfolio of FMCG products, leveraging historical data, market trends, and commercial insights.
  • Optimize inventory levels across the supply chain to minimize waste and ensure high service levels, managing safety stock and reorder points.
  • Translate demand plans into feasible production and procurement schedules, collaborating closely with manufacturing and sourcing teams.
  • Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing data-driven recommendations and contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, stock availability, and inventory turns, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage new product introductions (NPIs) and product discontinuations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal impact on supply.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve responsiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations) and external suppliers/partners.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar role within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Solid understanding of demand forecasting techniques and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with a dedicated demand planning software (e.g., Anaplan, SAP IBP, o9 Solutions).
  • Knowledge of S&OP processes and best practices.
  • Certifications in Supply Chain (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM).
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives within a supply chain context.
