Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics, to provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, highlighting deviations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, understand business operations, and support their financial needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modelling).
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and corporate finance concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgeting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, advanced ERP systems).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Part-qualified or actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Previous experience working in the professional services or financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
