Job Description
Access Bank Plc is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team, with a specialized focus on corporate projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive planning, meticulous execution, and successful closing of complex corporate projects, ensuring unwavering alignment with strategic organizational goals and business objectives.
- Develop detailed and robust project plans, encompassing clear scope definitions, measurable objectives, tangible deliverables, realistic timelines, precise resource requirements, and accurate budget projections.
- Manage project teams with strong leadership, providing clear guidance, unwavering support, and consistent motivation to foster high performance and ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Proactively identify, thoroughly assess, and expertly manage project risks, subsequently developing comprehensive mitigation strategies to effectively prevent potential delays or budget overruns.
- Communicate project status updates, emerging challenges, and achieved successes clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior management and executive leadership.
- Monitor project progress rigorously, meticulously track key milestones, and dynamically adjust project plans as necessary to ensure timely completion within specified parameters.
- Ensure that all projects strictly adhere to internal standards, established methodologies, and prevailing regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Facilitate highly effective communication and seamless collaboration among diverse project team members, various internal departments, and external partners.
- Conduct thorough post-project evaluations to identify valuable lessons learned and ascertain best practices for the continuous improvement of future initiatives.
- Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of project management processes, tools, and overall methodologies within the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise and practical application in various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).

- Extensive experience in risk management, identification, and the development of robust mitigation planning strategies.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control specifically for large-scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Demonstrable experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives or significant technology implementation projects.
- In-depth familiarity and working knowledge of regulatory frameworks specific to the Nigerian financial sector.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is an added advantage.
- Prior experience working in a large, complex multinational corporate or banking environment.
