Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition to offer letter, ensuring timely and effective hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and update job descriptions, person specifications, and recruitment advertisements.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and internal referrals, to attract diverse talent.
  • Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and coordinate further assessment stages with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture and team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
  • Provide support in employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases (HRIS).
  • Support performance management processes, including performance appraisals and development plans.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analytics, providing insights on recruitment metrics, employee turnover, and other key HR indicators.
  • Organize and participate in HR events, career fairs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data privacy in all HR-related activities.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Proven experience with various recruitment techniques and platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPM, HRCI, SHRM).
  • Experience working in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
