Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our dynamic team at Top-Class Autos & Diagnostics. This critical role involves restoring damaged vehicle bodywork to its original specifications, ensuring both structural integrity and aesthetic perfection. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of various body repair techniques and materials. You will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, planning the repair process, performing intricate panel beating, dent removal, chassis alignment, and preparation for painting. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assess vehicle body damage and determine the most effective repair methods.
- Perform skilled panel beating, dent removal, and bodywork repairs on various vehicle types.
- Utilize welding equipment (MIG/TIG) and other specialized tools for structural repairs and component replacement.
- Carry out chassis and frame alignment using advanced jigging and measuring systems.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
- Dismantle and reassemble vehicle components, including body panels, trim, and interior fittings.
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Continuously update knowledge of new vehicle models, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Auto Body Technician.
- Proficiency in dent pulling, metal shrinking, and body panel alignment techniques.
- Strong knowledge of automotive body repair materials and tools.
- Experience with MIG/TIG welding and spot welding.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of precision.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and diagnostic skills.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
