Job Description
This is a pivotal role for an experienced Human Resources Partner to join our dynamic Global HR team, based in our thriving Cardiff office. As an HR Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing HR strategies that support our ambitious global business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders and employees across various international business units, providing expert guidance on a broad spectrum of HR areas including talent management, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and change leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to assigned global business units and senior leadership, providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Partner with global HR centres of excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits) to deliver integrated HR solutions that meet business needs.
- Lead and support complex employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution across different jurisdictions, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and managing performance improvement plans.
- Facilitate talent management initiatives, including succession planning, career development programs, high-potential identification, and retention strategies for global teams.
- Contribute to organizational design and change management initiatives to optimize team structures, enhance efficiency, and support business transformations.
- Ensure compliance with global HR policies, local labor laws, and regulatory requirements across all relevant countries.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in HR services and strategies.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the global teams, fostering an inclusive culture where all employees can thrive.
- Participate in and lead global HR projects and initiatives, such as HR system implementations, policy reviews, or new program rollouts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an HR Partner, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Advisor in a complex, global organization.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations across multiple geographies (e.g., UK, EMEA, APAC, Americas).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and executive teams.
- Extensive experience in talent management, performance management, and complex employee relations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional HR certification.
- Experience working within professional services, consulting, or a similar fast-paced industry.
- Proficiency with global HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Experience with global mobility and international assignment management.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, German, Spanish).
