Job Description

This role is for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic Remote Team, serving members across British Columbia from the comfort of your home office in the Langley area. As a vital first point of contact, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional service, support, and guidance to our members via phone, email, and chat. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members, providing exceptional service via phone, email, and chat.
  • Address member inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information regarding accounts, products, and services.
  • Assist members with online banking, mobile app navigation, and other digital service platforms.
  • Identify member needs and proactively offer relevant solutions or escalate complex issues to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Adhere to all compliance, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless member experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on product knowledge and service best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive remote team environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a contact center environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong active listening skills and empathy.
  • Proficiency with computers, CRM software, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
