Job Description
Are you passionate about early childhood development and eager to make a tangible difference in the lives of young children? Bright Horizons at Liverpool One is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic Early Years team. This is an incredible opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, contributing to the foundational learning and holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. Our nursery prides itself on creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to explore their full potential.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be a cornerstone of our daily operations, playing a crucial role in creating an engaging, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, ranging from assisting with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that align seamlessly with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, to actively participating in free-play sessions, storytelling, and creative arts. You’ll be instrumental in supporting children during mealtimes, ensuring their personal care needs are met with dignity and respect, and most importantly, observing and documenting their progress to tailor future learning experiences. You’ll be a vital part of a team that encourages curiosity, fosters creativity, and celebrates every child’s unique journey and milestones, no matter how small.
We are looking for someone who brings not just energy and patience, but also a genuine love for working with young children and a deep understanding of their developmental stages. This role demands excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong, trust-based relationships with children, their families, and your colleagues.
