Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns and promotional activities tailored to the Mile 1, Port Harcourt market to drive product and service adoption.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis within the designated area to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Identify new sales opportunities and strategies to expand MTN’s customer base and market share.
- Actively engage with potential and existing customers, local businesses, and community leaders to build strong relationships and foster brand loyalty.
- Organize and manage promotional events, activations, and roadshows to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and prepare detailed reports on marketing and sales activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the regional sales team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives, supporting achievement of revenue targets.
- Ensure all marketing and promotional materials align with MTN's brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely feedback from the market to inform product development and service enhancement strategies.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service during promotional activities.
Required Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing role, preferably in the telecommunications or FMCG sector.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to drive sales and partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns and events.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media engagement strategies.
- Ability to analyze market data and generate actionable insights.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Master's degree or professional certification in Marketing (e.g., CIM, NIMN).
