Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pack and label finished or semi-finished truck body components according to specific instructions and quality standards.
  • Inspect products for defects or damage before packing, reporting any issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Operate basic packing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
  • Load and unload materials and products, assisting with inventory management as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
  • Perform general labour duties as needed within the factory setting.
  • Document and maintain accurate packing records and inventory counts.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions and count items.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operator certification (an asset, but not required).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of basic quality control principles.
