Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to MTN employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and office applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems.
- Respond to IT service requests and incidents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and track equipment allocation.
- Assist in the deployment of new IT systems, software, and hardware.
- Provide basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Educate users on IT best practices and security awareness.
- Document technical solutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with Active Directory user management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
