Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their desired destinations within Halifax and surrounding areas.
  • Operate company-provided or personal vehicles in strict compliance with all Nova Scotia traffic laws and municipal taxi regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Utilize dispatch systems and GPS navigation tools effectively to optimize routes and respond to ride requests promptly.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, providing receipts as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, customer conduct, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, ensuring accessibility and comfort.
  • Represent Casino Taxi professionally at all times, upholding our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Valid UK Driving License (Class B or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable safe driving record with a minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience (e.g., delivery, ride-share, or previous taxi service).
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate effectively using GPS and local knowledge of Halifax.
  • Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for handling fares and payments.
