Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon their arrival, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing point-of-sale (POS) systems, and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to all service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor dining areas to anticipate guest needs, promptly clearing tables and refreshing beverages as required.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with tact and efficiency, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Process guest payments accurately, handling cash and card transactions, and providing correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, service stations, and cutlery.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service personnel to ensure seamless service flow.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards of the establishment.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for various meal services or special events.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively.
