Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage, audio, and graphics into polished music videos and promotional content for various platforms (broadcast, digital, social).
  • Collaborate closely with directors, producers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project vision and deliver creative solutions.
  • Apply visual effects, motion graphics, transitions, and text overlays to enhance visual storytelling and production quality.
  • Perform colour correction and grading to achieve desired aesthetic and ensure visual consistency across projects.
  • Synchronise audio tracks, sound effects, and voice-overs with video, ensuring optimal sound quality and mix.
  • Manage and organise project files, media assets, and archiving according to studio guidelines.
  • Ensure all final deliverables meet technical specifications for various distribution channels.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, editing software advancements, and new creative techniques.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of music theory, rhythm, and pacing in visual storytelling.
  • Demonstrable experience with colour grading, sound design principles, and visual effects integration.
  • A creative portfolio showcasing previous music video editing work or similar dynamic visual projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
