Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Moxies' standards and recipes.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including glassware, ingredients, and bar equipment.
- Process guest orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
- Adhere to all provincial and municipal liquor laws and regulations, including smart serve practices and age verification.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking bar supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure seamless guest service.
- Uphold Moxies' commitment to health and safety standards at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bartender or Bar Staff in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
- Valid Smart Serve certification (or ability to obtain before starting).
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Eligibility and willingness to participate in the Canadian work permit application process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume, upscale casual dining establishment.
