Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and system problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop/laptop issues, operating system errors, and application malfunctions.
- Assist users with software installations, updates, and general IT inquiries.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with security policies.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff and external vendors for complex issue resolution.
- Provide IT training and guidance to end-users as needed.
- Participate in the deployment and upgrade of new IT infrastructure and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and system backups.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams or external vendors when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) and their troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering high-quality support and user satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
