Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the Graduate Trainee program, including classroom sessions, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
- Learn and understand the core banking operations, products, and services across various departments.
- Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives, applying learned concepts to practical scenarios.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional units to achieve departmental objectives.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to supervisors and team leads.
- Adhere strictly to UBA's policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage with mentors and senior colleagues to gain insights and career guidance.
- Develop solutions and identify opportunities for process improvement within assigned areas.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and tasks.
Required Skills
- Minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Must have completed NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) or possess an exemption letter.
- Not more than 27 years of age at the time of application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications.
- Previous internship experience in a financial institution or related industry.
