Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
- Greet customers warmly, provide excellent customer service, and answer any questions they may have regarding products or promotions.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances, reconciling cash received with sales receipts at the end of each shift.
- Scan items, apply discounts, and issue receipts, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Assist customers with bagging their purchases and provide carry-out service when necessary.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Keep the checkout area clean, tidy, and well-organized, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and assist with stocking shelves or other tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and security.
- Stay informed about current promotions, product availability, and pricing to assist customers effectively.
