Key Responsibilities
- Sort all soiled linen by type and color, inspecting for stains and damage before washing.
- Operate and maintain commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry into machines, ensuring proper chemical dosage and water temperatures.
- Fold, iron, and press linens, towels, and guest garments to hotel standards.
- Inspect all clean linen for quality, ensuring no damaged or stained items are returned to circulation.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to the supervisor.
- Distribute clean linen to various hotel departments and guest rooms as required.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to operate laundry equipment (washers, dryers, irons)
