Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing HR files.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire packets, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with precision and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex issues to the appropriate HR specialist.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist in the coordination of HR projects, events, and training programs.
  • Generate HR reports and provide data analysis as requested by HR leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM).
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Understanding of basic HR principles and best practices.
