Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for all hardware, software, network, and system-related issues encountered by internal employees.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems ranging from basic user account issues to complex system malfunctions.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions across various platforms including Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise applications.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up their IT equipment and providing initial technical orientation.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and procedures to build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff and other departments on IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets and effective communication with end-users regarding issue status.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed to provide critical support outside of regular business hours.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
  • Experience supporting remote users and various collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Prior experience in a global enterprise environment.
