As a Waiter, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued guests, responsible for guiding them through our exquisite menus and ensuring every visit is an unforgettable one. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests, seating them comfortably and presenting menus.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, daily specials, and beverage selections, answering any questions guests may have.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to any requests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and gift certificates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings, glassware, and cutlery.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and spirits.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (due to alcohol service).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus, catering to our diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with Seattle's culinary scene.
  • A current Washington State Food Handler's Permit and Class 12 Mixologist Permit (or ability to obtain quickly).
