Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to Marriott's established standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels and amenities.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust all furniture and fixtures.
- Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and mirrors.
- Replenish guest room supplies, ensuring all items are stocked as per brand standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items found in rooms or public areas.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor with all guests and fellow associates.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role (minimum 6 months preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and pull.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a hotel or resort environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Basic English language proficiency.
