Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new international markets with high potential for Pluralsight’s products and services, analyzing trends, competition, and regulatory environments.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for market entry, including identifying target customers, channels, and key partnership opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, strategic partners, and key industry influencers across target regions.
- Lead complex negotiations for large-scale enterprise contracts and global partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Customer Success) to tailor offerings and go-to-market strategies for diverse global markets.
- Analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to continuously inform business development strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent Pluralsight at international conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Prepare and present detailed business cases, financial forecasts, and performance reports to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international market entry, including regulatory, cultural, and economic factors.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of progressive experience in international business development, enterprise sales, or global expansion roles.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and closing significant deals in new international markets.
- Deep understanding of global business practices, cultural nuances, and market dynamics across various regions.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-level executives and build rapport across cultures.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical abilities, with experience using data to drive complex business decisions.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline management methodologies.
- Ability to travel internationally as required (up to 30-40% of the time).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
