Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, including social media content creation, email marketing, and website updates, tailored for the Goma market.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of print marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and outdoor advertising, ensuring timely delivery and brand compliance.
  • Manage and maintain Vodacom Congo's social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for the Goma region, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries in line with company policy.
  • Support the organization and execution of local marketing events, product launches, and promotional activities, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance, collect data, and assist in preparing reports on key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure integrated marketing efforts and consistent messaging.
  • Conduct market research to identify local trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in budget tracking for marketing expenditures, ensuring all activities are within allocated resources.
  • Maintain an organized archive of marketing assets, including digital files and physical promotional materials.
  • Proofread all marketing collateral for accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency across both French and Swahili communications.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management tools, email marketing software).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques for both digital and print media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Ability to create engaging content for various marketing channels.
