Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong focus on execution and reporting to join our dynamic team in Meadowbrook, Kingston. This critical role involves leading and managing projects from initiation through closure, ensuring that all project phases are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will be instrumental in translating strategic objectives into actionable project plans, meticulously overseeing their implementation, and providing transparent, accurate, and timely reports on project status and performance. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that project deliverables align with the bank’s strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of assigned projects in alignment with NCB’s project management methodologies and standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage and monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality specifications.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and business requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the successful integration of new systems, processes, or products into the existing operational framework.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement in future projects.
  • Manage change requests effectively, assessing their impact on project scope, schedule, and budget.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in project management, focusing on execution and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
