Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to The Place Restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage inventory, stock rotation, and minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service during all shifts.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control for all served dishes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Assist in menu development and innovation as required.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and utilized safely.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
