Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, to a five-star standard.
- Ensure all public areas, corridors, stairwells, and back-of-house areas are spotless and well-maintained.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas according to hotel guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, always maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding guest privacy and lost and found items.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards in a cleaning context.
