Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design development for diverse architectural projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents, specifications, and detailed drawings using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
- Conduct site visits, review construction progress, and administer contracts to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Research and integrate sustainable design strategies, building materials, and innovative technologies into projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes, zoning ordinances, and accessibility standards.
- Mentor junior staff and actively participate in team discussions, design critiques, and firm-wide knowledge sharing.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to deliver projects on schedule and within financial parameters.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant architectural design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques.
- Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse project experience and design capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional architectural licensure (or significant progress towards licensure) in home country or the U.S.
