Job Description

Access Bank Plc is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Secretary to provide comprehensive executive support to senior leadership at our Opebi, Ikeja branch. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to assigned senior executives, including calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Manage executive correspondence, including drafting letters, emails, memos, and reports, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Organize and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, visas, and accommodation.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take accurate minutes during meetings, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for critical documents, both physical and electronic.
  • Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, managing inquiries and directing them appropriately.
  • Process expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with special projects, presentations, and events as required by the executive team.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and ensure the executive's office is well-equipped and maintained.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant office software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in office administration or secretarial services.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or financial software.
  • Previous experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and virtual meeting platforms.
