Job Description
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for data and a keen interest in global workforce dynamics? American Express is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic Global Mobility team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your analytical prowess to shape and optimize our global talent strategies. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets related to international assignments, expatriate compensation, immigration, and global relocation programs. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, helping leadership make informed decisions that impact our global employee population and support strategic business growth.
This role offers a unique intersection of data analytics and human resources, specifically focusing on the intricate world of global talent mobility. You will dive deep into various data sources, from HRIS systems to vendor reports and financial records, to uncover patterns, forecast future needs, and assess the effectiveness of our current mobility programs. Your analytical insights will directly influence policy development, cost management, and the overall employee experience for our globally mobile workforce. Imagine the impact of streamlining an expatriate compensation model or predicting immigration trends to proactively support our employees. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) for global mobility, making complex data accessible and understandable to non-technical stakeholders. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data compliance with international regulations and internal policies, contributing to the integrity and ethical management of employee data across borders. Your responsibilities will span across various critical areas, including trend analysis, predictive modeling for mobility costs, compliance reporting, and identifying opportunities for process improvement within our global mobility operations. You will collaborate closely with HR partners, finance teams, and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and to present your findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. This role requires not just strong technical skills in data manipulation and visualization, but also an understanding of the nuances involved in global talent movement. If you thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment, where your work directly contributes to the success of a global enterprise and the well-being of its international employees, we encourage you to apply. Join American Express and become a key player in optimizing our global workforce mobility, ensuring seamless transitions and enriching experiences for our talent worldwide.
