Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team with an immediate start in South Lake Charles, Lake Charles. This role is crucial for driving key initiatives and ensuring the seamless execution of projects that support Netflix’s diverse operations, potentially spanning content production, technology deployments, or corporate infrastructure enhancements. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.
Required Skills
- Proven working experience as a project manager in a fast-paced environment (5+ years).
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certification.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Experience in the entertainment, technology, or streaming industry.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with global or international project teams.
