Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support to Netflix employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage and maintain endpoint devices including laptops (Mac/Windows), mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Assist with account management, password resets, and access provisioning for various internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot VPN connectivity, Wi-Fi issues, and other remote access problems.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and configurations in our ticketing system (Jira Service Desk).
  • Onboard new employees with IT equipment setup and initial technical orientation.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Participate in maintaining IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and update self-help guides and documentation for common issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support or Help Desk roles.
  • Proficiency in macOS and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with cloud-based productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Familiarity with identity and access management systems (e.g., Okta, Active Directory).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience with Jira Service Desk or similar ticketing systems.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience supporting AV equipment and video conferencing tools.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced media or entertainment company.
