Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL, Python, R, and other analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to subscriber behavior, content consumption, and product performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau or similar platforms to communicate key metrics and findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, content, and marketing teams to define business questions, develop hypotheses, and design experiments (e.g., A/B tests).
  • Support the full lifecycle of data analysis projects, from data extraction and cleaning to statistical modeling and presentation of results.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates and recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in product features, content strategy, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure, tooling, and analytical methodologies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced technology or entertainment company.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language for data analysis (e.g., Python with Pandas/NumPy, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create insightful dashboards and reports.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a curious, analytical mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Presto).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimental design.
  • Experience in the entertainment, media, or streaming industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
